Plumbots will only be allowed interactions that match their installed chips. Plumbots with Algorithmic Artist will paint continuously, motives permitting. Plumbots with Steel Chef will no longer randomly cook meals. Microscopic nanites will see to a plumbots maintenance needs while they are recharging. If their motives reach critical they will stay on the pad until fully charged. When controlled plumbots are not working they will report to their Power Down Pad and power down. No more creepily staring out windows or freaking out at broken objects. Basically all non-work interactions are disallowed by the controller. The Plumbot Master Controller and the Plumbot Power Down Pad will correct the behavior of non-sentient plumbots. The expansion packs designers wanted mechanical sims. I wanted servants that would do my sim's bidding. The designers of the Into The Future expansion pack and myself have very different ideas about how plumbots should work.
